Based on a statement by DigitalChatStation on weibo, it seems that the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset is expected to come equipped with a large core that’s capable of achieving up to 3.2GHz. While it may not perform as fast as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset, our source did note that the SD875 will focus more on lowering power consumption.

With all that said, do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Qualcomm has yet to provide an official statement on the leak. Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, local pricing, and exact tech specs of the smartphone that will have the chipset in question.
