Qualcomm showed how 5G networks can assist in healthcare, transportation and others

Recently, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc held an event in Kuala Lumpur on 29 March 2023 to showcase its latest advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and the potential of Connected Intelligent Edge. The event was part of its ongoing campaign, "The Edge of Possible".

During the event, Qualcomm highlighted the convergence of 5G networks with Connected Intelligent Edge. This technology allows data to be processed and analyzed in real time, allowing faster decision-making and response times. It can be utilised in healthcare, transportation, and other jobs by analysing vast amounts of data which can change the way we live, work, and interact with each other.

On the other hand, connected intelligent camera solutions can secure and safeguard enterprise environments, transform enterprise security and public safety segments, and optimize business operations. As 5G provides low latency and high bandwidth, it can put security cameras to various new use cases, from mission-critical emergency services to smart factories and smart cities.

Furthermore, Qualcomm also showed how AI features are improving work for hybrid employees. This includes enhanced and more natural video conferencing, advanced security and privacy, more power for intensive computing tasks, power saving and efficiency, tools to improve productivity and power innovation.

All in all, Qualcomm's aim is to provide enterprises with the right computing power to run their workforces effectively. By integrating artificial intelligence capabilities into enterprise PCs, it will become more prevalent in transforming industries, powering new consumer experiences, and fueling the growth of the digital economy.
