Based on a statement by Digital Chat Station on Twitter, it seems that Qualcomm could be releasing several “Lite” variants of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset which will be priced much cheaper. With that said, we can expect smartphones equipped with the aforementioned Lite chipset to be much cheaper compared to the full-specced Snapdragon 875 chip.
Other than that, there is no official information in regards to which smartphone will come equipped with the chipset as well as the Malaysia release date of the device. However, it is probably safe to assume that smartphones that come with the new chip will come with a much lower price tag. Do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Qualcomm, as well as the smartphone manufacturers, have yet to provide an official statement on the leak.
