Based on a report by winfuture.de, it seems that Qualcomm could be working on the successor of the Snapdragon 8cx to take on Apple Silicon chips. While not much is known in regards to which product will come with the Snapdragon chip, it does give us a better idea of what expect from Qualcomm in the near future.
As of now, our source hinted that Qualcomm is currently testing the Snapdragon SC8280XP chipset with the first variant capable of reaching up to 2.7Ghz while another variant is able to achieve up to 2.43Ghz. Not only that, but the chipsets are also expected to come with an integrated NPU to handle AI-based tasks.
With all that said, do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Qualcomm has yet to provide an official statement on the leak. Not only that, but there’s also no news on the exact tech specs, release date, and local pricing regarding the product that comes with the new Snapdragon chipset.
