While the REDMAGIC 10 Pro was already launched in Malaysia in December 2024, today is the official sales launch of the gaming smartphone here. To recap, there are two models - 12GB + 256GB (Dusk) and 16GB + 512GB (Shadow or Moonlight) for RM3,999 and RM4,899, respectively.
Like most gaming phones, it features a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset but what REDMAGIC has in store is an extra RedCore3 chip. The latter is said to improve AI interpolation performance and super-resolution to produce smoother frame rates, while intelligently managing energy efficiency and temperature. All the models use the same notch-less 6.85-inch 1.5K AMOLED display.
The battery is also large, sitting with a 7,050mAh pack that supports 100W fast charging technology. REDMAGIC also retains the gaming shoulder triggers and to cool down the machine from long hours of gaming, the company also integrated liquid metal technology with 11 cooling laters. The cameras on the back consist of a dual 50MP (main, OIS) + 50MP ultrawide sensor setup.
For a limited time, interested customers can get the phone at a discounted price of RM3,499 and RM4,399, respectively, alongside a free REDMAGIC Cooler 5 Pro. It is based on a first come, first serve basis.
