Today, REDMAGIC has announced the REDMAGIC 11 Air in Malaysia. It is the latest addition to its Air series gaming smartphones, combining an ultra-slim and lightweight design with flagship-level performance, advanced active cooling, and long-lasting battery life. Recapping the Gaming Tech Specs
At the core of the REDMAGIC 11 Air is the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. REDMAGIC further enhances performance through its CUBE system-level scheduling engine and the RedCore R4 gaming chip. Together, they optimise frame rates, visual quality, haptics, and audio synchronisation, while also managing power consumption and thermal stability to maintain high performance over extended use.
The REDMAGIC 11 Air is the slimmest and lightest device in the Air series, measuring 12% thinner and 10% lighter than the REDMAGIC 11 Pro. It still has thermal management and active cooling in a slim form factor. The device features a built-in turbo cooling fan capable of reaching 24000 RPM, paired with a patented 4D Ice Steps vapour chamber that offers a 40% improvement in heat diffusion efficiency.
Additionally, the REDMAGIC 11 Air houses a 7000mAh battery, marking a significant increase over the previous generation. There is also a REDMAGIC’s Charge Separation technology allows power to bypass the battery and feed directly to the motherboard during gaming, reducing heat generation and helping to preserve battery health, complemented by PowerCube AI Energy Management.
Featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, REDMAGIC has also included 520Hz shoulder triggers with low-latency input handling from the RedCore R4 chip. Moreover, the REDMAGIC 11 Air introduces a range of AI-driven features through its Game Space environment. These include real-time tactical guidance for popular mobile games, voice-controlled gameplay commands, AI-assisted text input, and an upgraded Mora virtual companion.
Cameras, Connectivity, and Software Enhancements
For imaging, the REDMAGIC 11 Air is equipped with a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 16MP front camera. AI enhancements are used to improve image quality, including in low-light conditions.
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi Fi 6, NFC, and infrared control. Integration with Google Gemini AI enables features such as real-time translation and AI-assisted input, while the REDMAGIC OS 11.0 software aims to deliver smooth performance across gaming and daily use.

The REDMAGIC 11 Air will be available in Phantom and Prism colour options. The 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at RM2499, while the 16GB + 512GB model is priced at RM2999.
