As a reminder, we reported about the RM100 e-Tunai redemption back in October and it's coming real soon. Our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has confirmed the distribution date and it shall begin on 4 December 2023 and until 20 February 2024.
The RM100 e-Tunai can only be redeemed by one person who is a Malaysian aged 21 and above with an annual income below RM100,000. The redemption process can be done in your eWallet apps but at the moment, the providers aren't confirmed yet. Despite that, we have a good guess that it will involve GrabPay, Touch n' Go eWallet, and Boost.
In other news, the Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR)'s applications will be open for the whole year of 2024. In February 2024, we will see the first payment of up to RM500 to be credited. Moreover, the maximum rate for STR will be raised to RM3700 next year, while the minimum rate for youths will be increased to RM500 from RM350.
