As previously teased, the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme model is indeed RM3299. ASUS Malaysia has also officially announced that there's only one variant for the local market and its retail sales will start on 1 July 202 at an upcoming ROG Roadshow, Plaza Lowyat Concourse and ROG Ally authorized dealers nationwide.
So any bundle packages? Yes, for a limited time (with limited stocks), buying the ROG Ally at the first online sale on 19 June (like, right now) will come with ROG Cetra True Wireless earbuds (RM529), ROG Ally Travel Case (RM199), a 9-month PC Game Game Pass & Screen Protector (RM272), and ROG Gaming Charger Dock (RM299). On top of that, you can also get a purchase-with-purchase deal for the ROG XG Mobile with RM2000 off.
The same bundle promo is eligible for the first ROG Ally Experiential Roadshow at the aforementioned place but only for the first 100 customers. Starting at 10 AM, customers can also stand to win a lucky draw worth up to RM6999. The special prize includes an XG Mobile and ROG gaming monitor. Speaking of XG Mobile, it packs serious graphics power of up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU that can be connected to peripherals and an external monitor.
To recap the tech specs, the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme features 16GB of LPDDR5 dual channel RAM and 512GB PCIe Gen 4 of storage. You may slot in a UHS-II microSD card for more space too, while the IPS display is 7 inches with a 16:9 aspect ratio in 1080p.
