Yesterday, the ROG Ally X (2024)'s local pricing was leaked earlier than expected. Officially, it's priced at RM4,299 and if you plan to upgrade or buy this latest variant now, you can bring home some pre-order promotion bundles.
The campaign period begins from the 17th of July until the 31st of July 2024. During this period, gamers can get themselves a pre-order bundle worth RM658, which includes ROG ALLY Premium Hard Case, ROG Gaming Charger Dock & Screen Protector, while stock lasts. To recap the tech specs, the ROG Ally X's upgrade from the vanilla variant is not that much different. For starters, the memory configurations are now 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, as well as the new 80Whr battery for longer playtime. The design also has a slight upgrade, making it more ergonomic to hold and everything else remains the same which includes:
- AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme
- Windows 11 Home
- 7-inch FHD display with a 16:0 aspect ratio
- A 120Hz refresh rate
- AMD FreeSync Premium support
