Today, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced a new lineup of gaming peripherals and devices at Gamescom 2024. New peripherals include the ROG Falchion Ace HFX and Strix Scope II 96 RX Wireless gaming keyboards.

Starting with the ROG Falchion Ace HFX gaming keyboard, it is not a full-length model since it features a 65% layout in a 60% keyboard frame only. However, it features ROG HFX Magnetic Switches that can be customized between 0.1-4.0mm. The polling rate is 8,000Hz and features a 0.125 ms response time.

Plus, a Rapid Trigger toggle can be activated for the fastest typing response and key repeat rates. There's also a Speed Tap mode that prioritizes the last input and automatically releases the previous one to eliminate any time gap, and a multifunction button and interactive touch panel provide users with a variety of settings such as actuation point, media pause/playback, volume, and keyboard lighting.

Next, the ROG Strix Scope II 96 RX Wireless keyboard has a 96% and features light-actuated ROG RX optical switches with integrated sound-dampening foam. It also has a multifunction button and multi-wheel for intuitive volume, keyboard lighting, and media playback controls, while the F1–F5 keys are pre-programmed as hotkeys for recording and Xbox Game Bar functions.

Additionally, it has the same 8,000Hz polling rate and 0.125 ms response time. On the other hand, users can make use of the Tri-mode connectivity for the flexibility of using Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz with ROG SpeedNova wireless technology, or simply use a wired USB connection. Finally, the Strix Scope II 96 RX Wireless includes additional ROG-themed UV-coated ABS keycaps with a special ROG-themed look and a detachable wrist rest.

There are also the ROG Harpe Ace Mini and Strix Impact III Wireless gaming mice, and the ROG Pelta headset. ROG Malaysia didn't disclose if any of these devices are coming here, though, but to learn more, you can check out our news coverage of each item below:
