Today, ASUS Malaysia launched the ROG Phone 8 series which consists of both the standard ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro. Although there are two models, the pro variant will have two based on memory configuration. Below are the official details on the prices and bundles.
Launching with bundles worth up to RM748, the vanilla ROG Phone 8 (12GB + 256GB). It is priced at RM3999. Initially, the phone will not come with an AeroActive Cooler X but exclusively for early birds, it's bundled with a 1-year extended warranty (worth RM399) and the cooling accessory. There is also a Silicone case and a 65W HyperCharger adapter inside the box.
Next, the ROG Phone 8 Pro 16GB + 512GB and 24GB + 1TB models are priced at RM4799 and RM5999, respectively. The 1-year extended warranty is also included for early birds, but the 16GB + 512GB model has an extra special DEVILCASE Guardian Gaming set (worth RM149). Meanwhile, the 24GB + 1TB (Pro Edition) will already come with the cooler in the box).

To recap the tech specs, the ROG Phone 8 series is sporting a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 8533 Mbps LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage version. There is also a new 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED display with an adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate, and going up to 165Hz max. The battery pack dropped a little at 5500mAh, while the triple rear camera set is a 50MP (main) + 13MP (ultrawide) + 32MP (telephoto) module and the front camera is 32MP.
