Today, ASUS Malaysia announced the arrival of the ROG Phone 9 FE. The Fan Edition is priced at RM2,999, alongside an Epic Raya Special that begins today until 30 April 2025 with a special TnG eWallet credit redemption.
To recap the tech specs, the ROG Phone 9 FE is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and even comes with an AniMe Vision mini-LED display and the trademark AirTrigger system for additional gaming controls for mobile gamers. Unlike the variant in Thailand, our local set uses 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The company did not compromise the panel, which features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate.
Next, the ROG Phone 9 FE also sports a 50MP (main, OIS) + 13MP (ultrawide)+ 5MP (macro) triple rear camera setup, whereas the front is 32MP. It also has a 5,500mAh battery pack with 65W wired charging and 15W Qi 1.3 wireless charging. In addition, there is a ROG GameCool cooling system (complemented by an AeroActive Cooler X Pro), and has the same AI features as the ROG Phone 9 series. This includes the X Sense 3.0, X Capture 2.0 and AI Grabber 2.0 which can help gamers to enhance in-game tasks, record gameplay highlights and have quick access to a built-in translator, respectively.
As mentioned, the ROG Phone 9 Epic Raya Special campaign is happening now until the 30th of April 2025.
