News of the ROG Phone 9 FE rumours have been going around since the end of 2024. Today, it seems that the new refreshed gaming is going to launch in Malaysia and Thailand soon, as its certification was spotted online.

As the name suggests, the ROG Phone 9 FE will be released as an affordable version. We can also expect the phone to have some downgraded tech specs if compared to the standard version. According to online certifications, the phone could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Besides the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the ROG Phone 9 FE may retain the cooling system with advanced heat dissipation, which also means the phone could come bundled with an AeroActive cooling accessory. However, it is unknown if the Fan Edition would drop the trademark AirTrigger buttons.

In addition, the ROG Phone 9 FE could have similar display features as the ROG Phone 9. To recap, the ROG Phone 9 has a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. It is only a matter of time before ASUS Malaysia makes an announcement about it, so stay tuned for the official news only at TechNave.com.
