Today, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia announces the arrival of the 2025 ROG laptop lineup. Featuring the latest processors from Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA, here are the details you should know about the ROG Strix series, the Flow Z13 and the ROG Zephyrus series.
In the 2025 ROG Strix lineup, it features the new Intel-based Strix SCAR 16, Strix SCAR 18, Strix G16, and Strix G18. They all come with the first tool-less bottom panel, which users can easily open their machine to clean fans or upgrade RAM and storage. All 2025 Strix machines also feature a dual-layer ACR film on the display, which reduces reflections by 55% and boosts contrast by 4.5X, giving more vivid colours.
In terms of processors, the lineup boasts the latest Intel chips. The Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 275HX is available on both the top-end Strix SCAR machines as well as the Strix G16 and G18. Supported by up to 64GB of DDR5 5600MHz RAM and 4TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage on the Strix SCAR 16 and 18, and 32GB of DDR5 5600MHz RAM and 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage on the Strix G16 and G18, they all also sport up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU for DLSS 4 and AI technologies.
Next, the ROG Flow Z13 has a brand-new AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor with RDNA 3.5 graphics cores and Radeon 8060S graphics. Alongside dedicated NPU cores, the Flow Z13 has 50 TOPS of total NPU compute power to deliver an enhanced Copilot+ experience. Moreover, the entire device shares the same pool of 32GB of LPDDR5X-8000 RAM between both the CPU and GPU cores completely dynamically. Its ROG Nebula Display also supports 2.5K resolution and a 180Hz refresh rate
Finally, the ROG Zephyrus G16 is now equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 285H and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. Additionally, the ROG Nebula Display is also equipped with an OLED panel with 2.5K resolution, 240Hz refresh rates and supports NVIDIA G-Sync.
