ROG Zephyrus revealed as the world’s slimmest gaming laptop by ASUS

Today, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) proudly presented their latest and the world’s slimmest gaming laptop - the ROG Zephyrus. Alongside that, ROG also announced a new pair of specialized ROG Strix Scar and Strix Hero edition, two new motherboards (ROG Rampage VI Extreme 2D and 3D with Aura), ROG Strix Fusion gaming headset, and a new ROG Swift Curved PG35VQ gaming monitor.

As a high end compact gaming laptop, it possess an exclusive Active Aerodynamic System (AAS) that runs cooler and quieter without sacrificing performance. How this is done is the AAS will increase the speed and efficiency of airflow through the laptop, then then the fan’s 3D-curved surface cover and accelerator guides enhance airflow and move heat away from the components more efficiently by 20%. It can be noted that there are 4 vents with two at the back and each by the side.

ASUS Aura RGB lighting technology allows gamers to have a customizable lighting effects over the entire keyboard, as well as separately highlighted customizable effects for the WASD and QWER key groups. The touchpad on the right side of the keyboard also integrates a 10-key function.

On the other hand, the brand-new Strix SCAR Edition and Strix Hero Edition gaming laptops are respectively targeting FPS gamers and MOBA gamers. In both cases, the core functionality has been meticulously designed with Intel Core i7 processors, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 Series graphics and a 120Hz wide-view display with rich color.
