By now, you should have heard the once beloved and popular MMORPG that happened a decade ago, Ragnarok Online (RO) is making a return. Currently, RO is being handled by Electronics Extreme with the courtesy of Gravity, the original publisher and they are pleased to announce that RO: Homecoming Open Beta has officially started today (30 November 2017) in Malaysia and Singapore!
So what can we expect from the resurrected MMORPG? Well for starters, Electronics Extreme assured the Ragnarok Online fans that they would provide the best service possible to players in both Malaysia and Singapore, and to take community feedback seriously (we hope so too). Just so you know, Electronics Extreme has been operating RO in Thailand and Philippines as well so they are quite well versed in handling this.

During the Q&A session, it was also mentioned that Electronics Extreme has integrated a new security system that will detect illegal third-party software such as botting, which was the main cause for RO's downfall a few years back. You can be sure that the game will be updated regularly after Open Beta begins, such as new maps, classes and game features that suits our local style.

At the end note, Electronics Extreme is keen to explore the possibility of holding more live events in the future in Malaysia and Singapore. This will allow the team to get closer and interact with the supportive Ragnarok Online community.
