Today, Shopee Malaysia just kicked off a new feature for ShopeePay called 'Deals Near Me'. In conjunction with the upcoming Raya season and Raya Bersama Shopee campaign, Deals Near Me allows users to use ShopeePay to connect to offline merchants.
To explain it more simply, Deals Near Me is an online-to-offline (O2O) feature that uses location-based services to help users discover ShopeePay Vouchers by nearby merchants including cafes, restaurants, and services. With this, users can purchase vouchers on the Shopee app then redeem them at participating outlets and enjoy cashback via Shopee Pay. The campaign will last until 14 May 2021 while the Deals Near Me will remain as a permanent feature on Shopee.
To date, around 130 merchants are part of Deals Near Me such as MR DIY, Tealive, The Black Whale and many more. The vouchers can also be found at three different periods of the day - Sahur Specials at 5 AM, Jom Berbuka dengan ShopeePay at 12 PM, and Moreh Specials at 10 PM. It can go as low as 5 sen and earn up to RM8 cashback from merchants like Nasi Kandar Pelita, Nando’s, TGI Friday’s, Boat Noodle, Johnny’s, OLDTOWN White Coffee, J.Co Donut and Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart.
Moving on to the Raya Bersama Shopee campaign, Shopee users can also benefit from more exclusive promotions below:
- Claim free shipping with no minimum spending and deals from as low as RM1
- Jualan Hebat Raya (23 April) and Pesta Jualan Raya (5 May) will offer Malaysians more deals and discounts of up to 80% on home appliances, furniture, Hari Raya outfits, decorations and more in preparation for Hari Raya
- Raya Bersama Shopee Show on 23 April at 10 PM, followed by Jom Heboh Di Rumah on 4 May at 9 PM and 5 May at 2 PM, aired on Shopee Live, TV3 and Tonton
- One or Not Giveaways & Share and Win of 2 units of Perodua Ativa, Yamaha motorbikes, up to 25 million Shopee Coins and other great prizes
- Kotak Duit Raya game show on every Monday to Friday at 12 PM on Shopee Live, a grand prize of RM3,000 cash daily and a maximum of RM9000 if there are no winners
