Are you a fan of Razer peripherals? And are you looking to get a new gaming keyboard? If you have the cash to splash, maybe you want to check out the company's latest BlackWidow series keyboards. Specifically, the BlackWidow V4 and BlackWidow V4 X.

Yesterday, Razer unveiled two new variants to the BlackWidow V4 series. The BlackWidow V4 and BlackWidow V4 X come with Gen-3 Razer Mechanical Switches, promising excellent performance in gaming and general usage. The switches come in two versions - the more clicky Green Switches and the silent but smooth Yellow Switches.

The BlackWidow V4 comes with some extras like a wrist rest

Design-wise, the two new BlackWidow keyboards are similar. They are full-sized keyboards with Razer Chroma RGB, dedicated macro keys, and a multi-function roller. Both keyboards also have a polling rate of doubleshot ABS keycaps and support a polling rate of 8000Hz. Of course, there are some differences as well.

First, the BlackWidow V4 comes with an included leatherette wrist rest. Also, it has four extra media keys for play/pause, mute, and track skipping. On the other hand, the BlackWidow V4 X comes with internal Sound Dampening Foam and lubricated stabilisers, which would improve the keyboard's acoustics.
