Today, Razer announced a new Huntsman Mini Analog keyboard. It is noted that this is the company's first compact 60% keyboard with Razer’s Analog Optical Switches, but can you get it in Malaysia? Yes, yes you can.
A perfect keyboard size for a minimalist, it's not your ordinary mini analog keycaps but the Razer Analog Optical Switches allows you to set multiple commands in a single keystroke. According to the company, it can detect how far a key is pressed and trigger different commands based on actuation height.
For example, if you press the "W" button halfway, you should be walking normal but a full press will trigger a running movement. While the website seems to imply that games such as Apex Legends, Fortnite, Rocket League and Final Fantasy XIV are compatible with the feature, Razer said that any video games can be used with the Huntsman Mini Analog albeit some might disable the input.
As usual, you can set up to 5 keyboard profiles and Razer Chroma RGB lighting effects, even without booting up the Razer software. Moreover, it uses a Type-C cable and its aluminium casing has a clean matte finishing.
