Update: Pricing for Malaysia has been confirmed to be RM299.90.

A lot of gaming peripherals have gone wireless these days, which tend to be more expensive. But if you want to save some money, or avoid dealing with audio latency and charging, then a third-party option is the way to go. For example, the new Razer Kaira X.

Razer has just announced the Razer Kaira X, a wired headset that will work with almost any modern device capable of gaming. This includes Windows, Mac, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. It comes with earpads and a headrest with comfy FlowKnit memory foam. The headband can also be adjusted, allowing it to fit more users.

Inside each earcup is a 50mm Triforce driver, which promises clear audio with rich treble and powerful bass. There's also a Hyperclear Cardioid Mic on the left earcup that can suppress noise from the back or sides. It's bendable too, so you can adjust it to your preference. In addition, there is a mic mute and volume dial on the left earcup that you can easily use even while gaming.

The Razer Kaira X is retailing for USD60 (~RM251), which is a decent price for high-quality wired headsets. If you don't want to spend too much on wireless ones, it's a pretty good deal. But what do you think about it? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
