Looking to add another quality product to your Razer setup? Then you might want to check out the new speakers from them. Razer has just announced its Nommo V2 series speakers, and there are three models this time. Let's see what they have available.

Razer Nommo V2 Pro

Comes with Wireless Control Pad (top-left on desk mat)

The first of the three is the Razer Nommo V2 Pro. It comes with speakers featuring 3-inch full-range drivers with aluminium phase plugs, which minimises sound reflections within the speakers. As a result, you'll get clearer sound. There's also a wireless subwoofer with a large down-firing 5.5-inch driver for strong and clean bass.

As for the features, the Nommo V2 Pro supports THX Spatial Audio. Razer claims that its advanced virtual 7.1 surround sound can deliver audio with exceptional accuracy and detailed soundstage. The speakers also come with Razer Chroma RGB and a handy Wireless Control Pad, which lets you control the speakers volume, play/pause, EQ, and more.

The subwoofer for this is wired

The Razer Nommo V2 is very similar to the Pro model, so there's not much to talk about. It still has the same set of speakers with 3-inch full-range drivers, which means you'll get the same audio quality. The subwoofer is also a down-firing 5.5-inch bass driver, but this time it's a wired variant. In addition, the Wireless Control Pad isn't included in the box.

On the flipside, you'll get the same set of features. This includes the THX Spatial Audio support, Razer Chroma RGB, and THX Game Profiles. The THX Game Profiles is useful if you play specific games, as it allows you to customise sound profiles. Currently, Razer has announced support for Monster Hunter Rise and Cyberpunk 2077.

Razer Nommo V2 X

Bass ports at the back

As the youngest sibling in the Nommo V2 series, the Nommo V2 X drops the subwoofer entirely. You get only the two full-range 3-inch drivers and no control pad, but they promise to deliver the same level of audio quality. According to Razer, the Nommo V2 X has a max sound pressure level (SPL) of 96dB, and can deliver clean audio without distortion even at higher volumes.

To compensate for the lack of a subwoofer, the Nommo V2 X speakers comes with rear-facing bass ports. These deliver increased bass output for the speakers, delivering a complete package in a compact body.

For those interested, the folks at Razer have confirmed that they will be available in Malaysia sometime in June 2023. The Nommo V2 Pro, Nommo V2 and Nommo V2 X are priced at RM2309, RM1399 and RM859, respectively. You can check the Razer website for more details.
