Yes, we are just as surprised as you are. Razer Pay (beta) will be shutting down for good soon on 1 October 2021. The cashless service first started back in 2018 and this marks its 3 years run, which is unfortunately short. So what happened?

Razer Malaysia didn't exactly say why, though, but there is a QnA section revealing how the platform will roll before the shutdown. So if you happen to sign up for Razer Pay (beta) today (6 August), you can still get your fund withdrawals and closure processes. To do that, it's best to do it before 30 September 2021 via Withdraw > Cash Out > Add Bank Account > Select Bank Accounts > Enter Bank Account Number > Enter OTP Number > Enter Amount > Confirm Payment PIN > Cash Out Successful.

If you want to close your Razer Pay account, you will need to visit the Account Closure Form webpage here and send it to their Customer Support page here. As for your Razer Pay data, it will be maintained and stored safely in the company's server. Your data is protected as Razer Malaysia has to oblige to the Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection regulations in both Malaysia and Singapore.

To read the full QnA, you can visit the page right over here. Are you sad to see Razer Pay going away? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
