Razer has launched the Wolverine V3 Pro 8K PC controller, priced at US$200 (around RM945). So, what should you know about it?

For your information, this new wireless and wired-capable controller delivers ultra-fast 8000 Hz polling, targeting competitive PC gamers who need precise, low-latency input.

What we could expect

The Wolverine V3 Pro is designed with esports performance in mind. It introduces magnetic TMR anti-drift thumbsticks to maintain accuracy over time, replacing the Hall-effect sensors found in previous models.

The controller is Razer’s lightest wireless esports model yet, at approximately 220 g, thanks in part to the removal of vibration motors, which also helps extend battery life.

Razer has included a hard-shell carrying case and a 2 m braided USB-C cable for players who prefer wired play or need a quick charge.

Gamers can customise button mappings, trigger sensitivity, and stick response, with the option to store multiple profiles via the Razer Synapse 4 software.

Alongside the Pro model, Razer also introduced a wired Tournament Edition version, priced at US$120 (around RM570). This variant offers the same features but with a direct connection for zero latency.
