Among the smartphone brands, Red Magic doesn't get a lot of recognition but the brand is still known for releasing gaming mobile devices. Pretty soon, the Red Magic 8 Pro will be launching in China on 26 December 2022 and it has been confirmed to feature the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
In terms of tech specs, TENNA certification revealed that the Red Magic 8 Pro would also feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with 2K resolution. From the rendered image below, it seems that the phone could have a full-screen setup without any punch-hole cameras. TENNA also mentioned that there would be an 8MP under-display camera.
On the back, there is a triple rear camera setup consisting of 50MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro/depth) lenses. The battery is huge too, coming in two variants of 5000mAh and 6000mAh supporting up to 165W fast charging technology. There are also different memory configurations, with 8GB, 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
