A few hours ago, the RedMagic 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ were unveiled with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition chipset. For now, these phones are in the Chinese market but if you want to know more, check out the details below.
The tech specs from both devices are quite similar. We already mentioned the chipset and the other features that both phones have are a 6.85-inch BOE Q9+ AMOLED 144Hz display with a 960Hz touch sampling rate. On top of that, it also supports up to 2,000 nits peak brightness with DC dimming and 2,592Hz PWM dimming support. The cameras are the same as well, with two 50MP cameras (primary and ultrawide), a 2MP macro lens and a 16MP under-display front camera.
Besides that, the main difference is the battery pack and charging capability. The RedMagic 10 Pro has a 6,500mAh battery with 80W charging, whereas the 10 Pro+ variant features a much bigger 7,050mAh battery with 120W charging technology. The latter also has higher memory configurations up to 24GB + 1TB and uses UFS 4.1 storage.
In terms of design, the RedMagic 10 Pro is available in Dark Knight and Transparent Dark Knight. To keep the gaming phone cool, a 3D ice vapour chamber is integrated and much bigger than before, alongside liquid metal cooling which is a first in the series. Meanwhile, it also has an in-house Red Core R3 gaming chip that supports 120FPS at 2K resolution, a pair of 520Hz shoulder keys and dual X-axis linear vibration motors. The audio jack is also present.
