While most brands have moved on from gaming smartphones, RedMagic remains a solid choice in this category. The company is set to launch the RedMagic 11 Pro next week and has been posting teasers of the device in advance. Below are some details already revealed.
Launch date confirmed
In an official Weibo post, RedMagic confirmed that the RedMagic 11 Pro will launch in China on 17 October 2025. The phone will come in two colours and four different variants. Specifically, the device is available in black or silver, but each colour also has a transparent variant.
New cooling system
So, what's special about this transparent variant? As you can see from the Weibo post, the transparent variants reveal a glowing blue circle on the back of the phone. According to RedMagic, this is a new water cooling system that's available in all RedMagic 11 Pro variants; the transparent back just makes it visible.
A subsequent post showed off the new cooling system in action against two unnamed competitors' cooling solutions. In the demo video, the RedMagic 11 Pro's new cooling system was more effective at reducing the water temperature and at a faster rate. Besides the cooling system, RedMagic also confirmed that the phone sports a Snapdragon chipset (likely the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5) and IPX8 water resistance.
Earlier launch
The RedMagic 10 Pro launched in China on 14 November 2025, before releasing in Malaysia on 10 December 2025. Since this year's China launch is one month earlier, we could expect the phone to launch here next month. For reference, the RedMagic 10 Pro had a Malaysian launch price of RM3999. However, we expect the new model to be at the same price or higher, as its chipset is likely more expensive.
