Today, Xiaomi Malaysia has finally announced the availability of the Redmi 10 phone. The phone was just released in China not too long ago and we were surprised to get it in the Malaysian market this soon. Coming in two memory variants, it is priced at RM649 (4GB + 64GB) and RM749 (6GB + 128GB) accordingly.

The Redmi 10 will be available for purchase from 20 August 2021 at official Xiaomi stores on Lazada and Shopee and offline at Authorised Mi Stores and other official retailers in Malaysia. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any freebies coming alongside the phone. Maybe it would be announced on the launching day but that's not the case.

To refresh your memory of the tech specs, the Redmi 10 is an entry-level phone that features a 50MP camera, a 6.5-inch AdaptiveSync display in FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Accompanying the 50MP main sensor are three more cameras which are the 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) sensor.

On top of that, the Redmi 10 also sports a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging technology and finally MIUI 12.5 out of the box. Mi fans would be delighted to know that there's a 22.5W charger provided in the box as well.

That's all, folks. Stay safe and stay tuned for more local trending tech news at TechNave.com.
