Redmi today announced the release of the Redmi 10C in Malaysia, the latest entry of its popular Redmi 10 series budget smartphones. Priced from just RM559, the device packs quite a punch and is part of Redmi’s overall mission to make high-quality products more accessible.
The standout feature of the 10C has got to be the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor powering the device. Built on a 6nm process, the chip offers a max clock speed of 2.4GHz and is paired with 4GB of RAM.
Furthermore, the 10C comes in a 64GB or 128GB storage option that uses UFS 2.2 for a faster write speed and performance. As for the display, the device sports a large 6.71-inch Dot Drop screen with a HD+ resolution. Before you ask, yes, the device supports Neftlix and Amazon Prime playback in HD.
Speaking of which, you’d get pretty decent hours of Netflix and chill with the 10C as it is packed with a 5000mAh battery. It also supports 18W fast charging, though do note that only a 10W charger is included in the box.
As for cameras, the 10C has a 50MP main sensor + 2MP depth sensor dual-camera setup at its rear. At its front, there is a 5MP camera for all your selfie needs.
Completing the specs list are a USB-C port, up to 1TB expandable storage support, a Dual SIM + MicroSD hybrid slot, a rear fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The device will be available in two variants, a 4GB+64GB option priced at RM559 and a 4GB+128GB variant at RM629. The 10C will be available for purchase starting from tomorrow (19 March 2022) through Authorized Xiaomi stores in Malaysia and other official retailers, and online on official Lazada and Shopee stores.
