After previously teasing about it, Redmi has finally released its latest budget offering, the Redmi 13C. With some compelling specs at the price range, read on to learn more about the device.

Released in Nigeria but coming to other global markets soon, the 13C features a 6.74-inch 90Hz LCD panel with a 1600 x 720 pixels resolution. There’s also a tear-drop style notch which houses an 8MP selfie shooter.

Meanwhile, the rear is where the 50MP main + 2MP macros dual-camera setup is. Under the hood, the 13C is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with either 4.6 or 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of storage.

There’s also a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W charging via the USB-C port but weirdly, only a 10W brick is included in the box. Well, better than nothing we suppose!

Other notable specs include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC, dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm audio jack, Android 13 via MIUI 14 and sadly, no 5G connectivity.

The 13C is offered in either Midnight Black, Navy Blue, Glacier White or Clover Green colour options and is priced from NGN98100 or ~RM574 for the base 4/128GB storage. It is not yet revealed whether the budget device will make its way to Malaysia.
