Redmi 13x Malaysia released - Helio G91-Ultra and 5,030mAh battery, priced at RM599

Today, Xiaomi Malaysia has introduced its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Redmi 13x, silently in Malaysia. It only costs RM599 and here's a breakdown of the device's key specifications and highlights.

The Redmi 13x is powered by a MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra octa-core chipset, built on a 12nm process. Coming with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, users can expand storage up to 1TB via a microSD card. Moreover, it has a 6.79-inch FHD+ DotDisplay with a 13MP front camera, a resolution of 2460x1080 and a pixel density of 396 ppi.

The display also supports up to a 90Hz refresh rate and includes features such as Reading Mode, DC dimming, and TÜV Rheinland certifications for Low Blue Light, Circadian Friendliness, and Flicker-Free viewing. Brightness peaks at 550 nits in High Brightness Mode. Then at the camera corner, it has a 108MP primary camera, complemented by a 2MP macro lens for close-up shots. Camera features include HDR, Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Time-lapse, and a dedicated 108MP mode, while videos can be recorded at up to 1080p at 30 fps.

Of course, one of the biggest highlights will be the 5,030mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via USB Type-C. It is also worth mentioning the availability of the 3.5mm audio headphone jack and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, as well as running on Xiaomi HyperOS. Lastly, the Redmi 13x is available in Midnight Black and Silk Blue.
