Xiaomi subsidiary Redmi may launch the successor to the affordable Redmi 13C 5G soon, aptly named the Redmi 14C 5G. This is after the device was spotted on the IMEI database, alluding to its potential imminent release.

According to GizmoChina, the device was spotted in 4 separate models for different markets. These include “2411DRN47G“, “2411DRN47R“, “2411DRN47I” and “2411DRN47C”, with G for global, R for Japan, I for India and C for China.

Besides that, nothing much about the device was revealed by the listing. However, the Japan model listing is quite notable as it would mark the first time the C-series will make its way to the country.

Given that the 13C 5G was released in December last year, there’s a chance that the 14C 5G will also follow suit and be released at the end of the year. Of course, these are all mere speculations, so stay tuned to TechNave for the latest developments on this and for more trending tech news.
