Redmi has released its latest entry-level 5G smartphone in China, the Redmi 14R 5G. Featuring some competitive specs at a low price, read on to learn more.
Under the hood, the 14R 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Battery-wise, it’s a 5160mAh cell which supports 18W charging via the USB-C port.
In terms of display, the device sports a 6.88-inch 120Hz LCD with an HD+ resolution, 600 nits peak brightness and a water-drop notch housing the 5MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is 13MP paired with secondary sensors.
Other notable specs include 5G connectivity, dual SIM, a micoSD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and colour options of either green, purple, blue or black. In China, the 14R 5G starts at CNY1099 or ~RM666, with global availability yet to be announced.
