
Xiaomi is launching a new smartphone in India soon under its Redmi subsidiary, the Redmi 15 5G. Hyping up the release, the company has revealed some key specs and features of the device, so read on to learn more.
Redmi 15 5G to launch in India on 19 August 2025 with a 7000mAh battery

A microsite for the launch is now live on the Xiaomi India website, with the smartphone set to debut on 19 August 2025. Furthermore, the 15 5G will sport the largest battery in the segment in India, which is a large 7000mAh Silicon-Carbon cell, which supports 18W reverse wired charging.
Under the hood, the 15 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. It will run Xiaomi HyperOS 2 equipped with AI features such as Circle to Search and Gemini.
The smartphone sports a 6.9-inch 144Hz display and 50MP dual AI cameras

Other specs confirmed include a 6.9-inch 144Hz display, 50MP dual AI cameras and colour options of either Midnight Black, Frosted White or Sandy Purple. For the full specs and features, we just have to wait until launch day on 19 August.
