Xiaomi has recently announced that the Redmi 8 smartphone will be available in Malaysia starting from RM499 for the 3GB + 32GB variant, while the 4GB + 64GB model is priced at RM599. In terms of the availability date, the 4GB + 64GB variant will be available for purchase via all Authorised Mi Store in Malaysia, as well as Lazada and Shopee on 12 October 2019.
The 3GB + 32GB variant, on the other hand, is priced at RM499 and it will be available from 18 October 2019 onwards from all of the sales channels mentioned above. Customers who purchased the 4GB + 64GB variant on the 12 October 2019 will be eligible for a free Mi Compact Bluetooth Speaker 2, which is worth RM49.
