Redmi 9T series Malaysia release: 6000mAh battery, 48MP main camera, and SD662 chipset from RM599

It seems that Xiaomi has announced the Redmi 9T has been officially unveiled in Malaysia, and it comes equipped with hardware such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset for the price of RM599. In terms of the availability date, the aforementioned smartphone will be available for purchase from Lazada, Shopee, Authorized Mi Stores located across Malaysia, and more starting from 15 January 2021.

Other than the chipset mentioned above, the Redmi 9T comes equipped with 6GB RAM, up to 128GB ROM, 6.53-inch FHD+ display, and up to 6000mAh battery which supports up to 18W fast charging. Camera-wise, it has a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP rear camera while the front has a 8MP selfie camera.

In addition to that, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 9T which comes equipped with a Dimensity 800U chipset, 4GB RAM, up to 128GB ROM, 6.53-inch display with FHD+ resolution, and a 5000mAh battery that supports up to 18W fast charging from the price of €229(~ RM1131). The camera remains largely the same as the Redmi 9T except it doesn’t have the 8MP sensor while the front comes with a 13MP selfie camera instead.

Unfortunately, there is no official information in regards to when the Redmi Note 9T will be available in the local market as of now.
