Redmi A3X release - 6.71-inch 90Hz screen, Unisoc T603 processor, 5000mAh battery and more

Xiaomi recently launched two new phones in Europe and other international markets: Redmi A3X and Redmi 13 4G. The price of Redmi A3X has not yet been announced, while the 6GB+128GB version of Redmi 13 4G is priced at 199.99 euros (about RM1025), and the 8GB+256GB version is priced at 229.99 euros (about RM1178). That said, what should you know about it?

For your information, the Redmi A3X is available for the first time globally and features a 6.71-inch screen with a resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The phone is powered by a Unisoc T603 processor and storage options include 3GB or 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of eMMC 5.1 flash memory, expandable up to 1 TB via a MicroSD card. The phone is also equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 10 W charging via the USB Type-C port.

In addition, the Redmi A3X is equipped with an 8MP main camera and a QVGA lens for taking basic photos, and it also has a 5MP front camera. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM card functionality, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, running Android 14. The device will receive two major Android updates and security updates before 2027.

On the other hand, the Redmi 13 4G uses the same design as the 5G version, supports IP53 dust and water resistance, and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. On the front, the Redmi 13 4G is equipped with a 6.79-inch display with a resolution of FHD+ and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Redmi 13 4G is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra processor, built-in up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space.

In terms of camera, the Redmi 13 4G is equipped with a 108MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the back, and the front camera is also upgraded to a 13MP selfie lens. The power of the device comes from a slightly enlarged 5030mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. This smartphone can run the HyperOS-based Android 14 operating system out of the box.

We have yet to confirm other details or the Malaysia release date for the phone. So, we should wait for more confirmation from the company.
