Redmi has launched its latest entry-level offering in Indonesia, the Redmi A5. Featuring some compelling specs for a low price, read on to learn more.
Under the hood, the A5 is powered by the UNISOC T7250 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Battery-wise, it’s a 5200mAh cell which supports 15W charging via the USB-C port.
Meanwhile, the screen is a 6.88-inch 120Hz LCD with an HD resolution, 450 nits peak brightness and a water-drop notch housing the 8MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is a 32MP camera paired with a secondary sensor.
Other notable specs include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, up to 4G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, a 3.5mm audio jack, Android 15 Go edition and colour options of either Lake Green, Sandy Gold or Midnight Black. In Indonesia, the A5 is priced at IDR1.9 million or ~RM320, with global availability yet to be announced.
