Redmi Buds 5 and Buds 5 Pro Malaysia release - Up to 52dB ANC & 38 hours batttery from RM199

Besides launching the Redmi Note 13 series, Xiaomi Malaysia today also released several accessories in Malaysia, including the Redmi Buds 5 and Redmi Buds 5 Pro. Excellent audio devices at their respective price ranges, read on to find out more about both earbuds. 

Starting with the Buds 5, it is designed to provide an enhanced audio experience. These include up to 46dB active noise cancellation (ANC) with three modes that cover a wide range of background noise.

Additionally, 3 transparency modes allow users to hear more of what they want and less of what they don't. The Buds 5 supports up to 10 hours of continuous listening and up to 40 hours of use when paired with its charging case. 

The Buds 5 is available in 3 colours: Black, White and Sky Blue. The case comes with a matte exterior and a glossy interior with an attractive light strip design.

As for the Buds 5 Pro, it offers a more engaging listening experience with built-in immersive sound and new modes for true-to-life audio. The earbuds also support LDAC, the leading Bluetooth codec for wireless earbud connectivity. With up to 52dB ANC, the Buds 5 Pro offers a choice of 3 ANC modes, an AI adaptive mode, and three additional transparency modes that help users intelligently switch between modes for more comfortable listening experiences in a wider variety of scenarios. 

Users can also personalise their audio experiences with five different EQ profiles. The Buds 5 Pro supports up to 10 hours of continuous listening and up to 38 hours of constant use when paired with its ergonomic case. It’s available in Midnight Black, Moonlight White and Aurora Purple.

Both earbuds support the use of the Xiaomi Earbuds app, which is compatible with a variety of smartphone brands. With this app, you can experience extended functionality such as personalised noise cancellation, intelligent ambient-adaptive noise cancellation, customised EQ tuning, and built-in immersive sound.

In Malaysia, the Buds 5 Pro is priced at RM299 while the Buds 5 is RM199. From 16 January to 2 February 2024, you can get special early bird prices for both, the Buds 5 Pro at RM269 and the Buds 5 at RM149, though terms and conditions do apply.
