Besides launching the Redmi Note 14 Series, Xiaomi Malaysia today also launched several other products in our country today, including the Redmi Buds 6 Series earbuds. Comprising the Redmi Buds 6 and Redmi Buds 6 Pro, read on to learn more.
First up, the Buds 6 features advanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with a depth of up to 49dB and 2kHz bandwidth. Moreover, the dual-driver system ensures a rich and dynamic sound, supported by multiple ANC modes and adaptive transparency settings that intelligently adjust to the environment. For clear communication, the dual-mic AI noise reduction minimises background noise, even in winds up to 9m/s. Additionally, the built-in immersive sound with 360° audio effect places users at the heart of their viewing or listening experience.
Available in Cloud White, Night Black, and Coral Green, Xiaomi Malaysia says the Buds 6 can provide real-time, visible battery levels and delivers up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge or up to 42 hours² with the case. In Malaysia, it’s priced at RM199, with an early-bird price of RM149 from 11 to 24 January.
Meanwhile, the Buds 6 Pro features industry-leading coaxial triple drivers that are Hi-Res Audio Wireless Certified and PZT dual tweeters combined with an 11mm driver as well as a titanium diaphragm to deliver deeper bass and sharper highs. For an immersive listening experience, the Buds 6 Pro has built-in dimensional audio that offers adjustable modes, including head tracking, perfect for music, videos, gaming, and audiobooks.
Flagship-grade 55dB ANC includes ultra-wide 4kHz coverage that effectively blocks mid-to-high frequency distractions. Xiaomi Malaysia says the total ANC has increased up to 14.16% compared to previous generation products, ensuring clarity in outdoor environments at all times.
The Buds 6 Pro is available in Glacier White and Space Blackcolour options, as well as a Lavender Purple with excimer coating that ensures skin-friendly usage over long periods. Battery-wise, Xiaomi Malaysia claims up to 9.5 hours of playback on a single charge or up to 36 hours with the charging case.
