Redmi K30 Pro will be launching in March 2020 with Snapdragon 865 chipset

The launch event for the much anticipated 5G smartphone Redmi K30 happened today in China. However, a new source has already come in claiming there will be another Pro variant which will be launching next year. Let’s find out what the rumour says!

The Redmi K30 Pro will probably be launched in March 2020 without having a specific date for now. Rumours have it that the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor, and embedded with a Snapdragon X55 5G modem. Moreover, the smartphone is also said to feature a 6.67-inch FHD display with a punch-hole cut-out front facing cameras like the one on Redmi K30. There will be a fingerprint sensor mounted at the side for security as well. 

The Redmi K30 has been announced with Snapdragon 765 chipset and a 120Hz refresh rate display today at the event. It houses four cameras at the back including a Sony 64MP sensor, and two cameras with puch-hole cut-out at the front. There is also a 4500mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging technology. Other than a 5G Redmi K30, Redmi announced another 4G variant as well for markets where 5G isn’t available yet.
