The Redmi K50 Gaming is something to watch out for this year. The device is not only expected to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but it could also come with 120W fast charging and 64MP camera such top-of-the-line tech specs. Until now, the brand further confirms something new before the launch, claiming that the Redmi K50 Gaming will offer a breakthrough audio setup.

On Weibo, Redmi talked about how audio frequencies work. Most of the music and other "mainstream" audio is limited to the 500-2000Hz mid-frequency band, and nailing higher frequencies on speakers has been an important task. Redmi says that if the frequencies are higher than 2000Hz, the output will sound unnatural and less lively and the same goes for lower frequency sounds.

In the upcoming K50 Gaming series, the team aims to achieve an optimum "crossover" of both high-frequency and low-frequency sounds by dividing the speakers into units dedicated to either. With such a method, it will provide users with the ability to distinguish footsteps and gunshots in several gaming scenarios, especially FPS games. Furthermore, the device is also arriving with a dual symmetrical stereo speaker setup by JBL and Dolby Atmos support, making it exceptional in the sound department.
