Xiaomi is the pioneer of 120W wired fast charging technology by launching the first device that supports it. After that, the Chinese tech company also became the first in realizing 100W wireless charging power. When it's challenging itself to innovate higher charging capacity, the previous ones will be moving to more budget devices. According to a source, next year's Redmi K50 will come with support for 120W charging capacity.

Redmi is already using 67W wired fast charging, and it appears that the brand is not stopping there. Sources are saying that Redmi will launch a global model with 120W fast charging support, and all bets are on the Redmi K50. However, there are also conflicting reports saying that the series will use the same 67W or 100W instead.

Besides improved fast charging support, the K50 is also rumoured to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and 120Hz OLED display. Reputable tipster Digital Chat Station reveals that the device could sport a 6.7-inch display with 1080 x 2400px resolution and use a 50MP main camera on the back.

Not only Xiaomi, but brands like Samsung is also giving its more affordable smartphones flagship tech specs. Earlier, it was reported that all 2022 Galaxy A series devices would come with optical image stabilization (OIS). Leave some comments to let us know your thoughts on this news.
