Xiaomi is preparing to debut its very first 200MP smartphone, the Redmi K50S Pro. Before the launch date gets confirmed, an "official-looking" image has been leaked and shows us some tech specs that the device will offer.
If the image turned out to be accurate, the Redmi K50S Pro would pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 for performance, paired with either 8/128GB or 12/256GB configurations. There's also a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging, all placed under a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the 200MP camera would get accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro shooter.
Based on the TENAA certification, the device will ship with MIUI 13 built on Android 12. Tipster Yogesh Brar has also tipped about the front-facing camera using a 20MP sensor. Besides the Pro variant, we should also get a vanilla model powered by the Dimensity 8100. These sum up what we know about the devices so far.
