The Redmi K60 Ultra could arrive sooner than we expected. A recent search for “K60” on JD.com shows that the series is unavailable for purchase. Rumour says that Redmi may have discontinued the K60 Pro or the series entirely. Hence, this suggests that the company is preparing to launch the Ultra variant soon.

Rumour also reports that the new Ultra variant could arrive alongside other devices. Including Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, the Pad 6 Max tablet, the Redmi Pad 2 tablet, and the Redmi K60 Ultra. If everything goes smoothly, these devices should arrive in China next month.

In addition, the Redmi K60 Ultra is expected to succeed the K50 Ultra. Interestingly, the Redmi K50 Ultra arrived in the same month as last year. Hence, this is something you could lean on when anticipating this model. Display-wise, it could feature a 6.7-inch OLED display, 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Is this the new Redmi K90 Ultra?

But it does not end there, it could also feature the Dimensity 9200 Plus SoC with 2 RAM options. You can choose between either 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM. You could also choose between UFS 4.0 storage of 512 GB or 1 TB. The K90 Ultra should run Xiaomi’s MIUI 14 (Android 13 OS).

Moreover, the battery capacity for this device could range from 5000mAh to 5500mAh, with support for 120W fast charging. It could also feature a side-facing fingerprint sensor. Plus, this device might be available in shades like black and cyan. We have yet to confirm the global release date for this phone. However, it is safe to assume it will arrive a few months after the Chinese release.
