
The Redmi K70 Ultra has been in the rumour mills for a while and now, the Xiaomi subsidiary has finally announced a release date for the device. Taking to Weibo, Redmi announced that the smartphone will launch in China at 7pm local time on 19 July.
Hyping up the release, Redmi had also revealed some of the device’s key specs. These include the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC under the hood and up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage variants.

Camera-wise, the K70 Ultra will sport a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor and is the first Redmi smartphone to utilise Xiaomi’s self-developed AISP imaging algorithm. Besides that, it will also feature Xiaomi’s Pengpai T1 signal enhancement chip that is touted to boost WiFi performance by 12 per cent, a 58 per cent improvement in 5G signal and 20 per cent improvement in GPS.
Meanwhile, the battery is a massive 5500mAh cell with 120W charging support and the display is a 144Hz 1.5k OLED. For the full specs and price, we just have to wait for a few days until its release.
