
In China, the Redmi K90 Pro Max was revealed and launched. It is Xiaomi’s newest flagship under the Redmi brand, packing an impressive suite of specs designed for power users and performance enthusiasts. Here's everything you need to know about the phone.
Redmi K90 Pro Max Tech Specs
To kick it off, the K90 Pro Max is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It also has a 6.9-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, “2K” resolution, and support for high touch sampling (reported up to 2560Hz). The panel also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, with peak brightness reaching up to ~3500 nits in some reports and a minimum as low as 1 nit.

The rear camera setup is high-end: a triple-50MP configuration comprising a main 50MP sensor (1/1.31″ size, OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5-times optical zoom and up to 10× lossless zoom. The front selfie camera is around 20-32MP, depending on the region.
Last but not least, the device supports a large 7560mAh battery paired with 100W wired fast charging, and additionally 50W wireless charging and reverse wired charging. On the audio front, it features a 2.1-channel speaker system tuned by BOSE, delivering premium stereo sound.
Other Notable Features

Besides that, the K90 Pro Max has a cooling system as well, with an expansive ice-sealed heatsink spanning ~6700 mm² for sustained performance. Connectivity includes 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and advanced GPS navigation. It also has a variety of storage and memory combinations, from 12GB + 256GB up to 16GB + 1TB.
Price and Availability
The Redmi K90 Pro Max's starting price is 3999 Yuan for the base model, 12GB + 256GB, which is roughly around ~RM2.3K. The price goes up to 5499 Yuan (~RM3.2K) for the Champion Edition, and it seems to be exclusive for the Chinese market.
