Looking for a relatively affordable flagship phone in 2021? Well, Xiaomi launched its Mi 11 for Malaysia yesterday so that's an option. But that's not all the company launched yesterday. If you wanted a new TV, there's also the large Redmi MAX 86.

According to Gizchina, the Redmi MAX 86 is a 4K smart TV that will retail for 7999 yuan (~RM5025). Despite the large panel size, Xiaomi has made it as compact as possible. In fact, it has an incredible screen-to-body ratio of 97.25%. The TV's thin bezel and the main body are metallic, which should protect the TV from minor knocks.

In terms of specs, the Redmi MAX 86 uses a factory-calibrated IPS panel. This results in an impressive colour gamut of 92% DCI-P3. The TV also supports MEMC, HDR10+, and has a refresh rate of 120Hz. As for physical features, there's a total of four speakers, three HDMI ports (faster HDMI 2.1 included), two USB ports, and one Ethernet port.

Honestly, a TV with such specs for ~RM5025 is quite a steal. Having said that, how many of you have the space for this TV and would you like to buy it? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
