The Redmi series has a solid fan base in Malaysia, so it must have been strange that the Redmi Note 11 series didn't launch here. For your info, the standard Redmi Note 11 did launch here as the POCO M4 Pro 5G. But now we might also be getting the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ soon.

According to 91Mobiles, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ was certified by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) with the model number 21091116UG. The Redmi Note 11 series was launched back in October 2021 but hasn't made its way here yet. But with the FCC certification, the company could be gearing up for a global launch, so we might be getting it in Malaysia soon. Interestingly, the device will launch on 6 January 2022 in India as the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge. As such, we expect the Malaysian launch to also be in January 2022.

For the tech specs and features, everything should be identical to the Chinese variant. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ comes with a Dimensity 920 chipset, 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It will also have a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 108MP+8MP+2MP triple rear cameras, and a 16MP front camera.

The price for this mid-range phone starts from 1899 yuan (~RM1250), which is a pretty good deal for what it offers. But would you be interested in getting one if it launches here? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for further updates about it.
