After being teased by Xiaomi, the company has finally released the latest Note smartphone under its subbrand Redmi, the Redmi Note 11R 5G. Featuring a 6.58-inch 90Hz IPS LCD display with a resolution of Full HD+, the screen also has a 20:9 aspect ratio and sports a teardrop notch.

According to Redmi's official Weibo account, the notch houses a 5MP selfie camera which is also complimented by a 13MP main + 2MP macro dual-camera setup at its rear. Under the hood, the Note 11R 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with either 4, 6 or 8GB of RAM. It also has a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

As for storage, the device only comes in a singular 128GB option but thankfully, it does support expandable storage with its microSD card slot. While the Note 11R 5G is basically a rebrand of the POCO M4 5G, it does have different colour options, namely black, grey and blue.

Other notable specs of the smartphone include an IR blaster, a 3.5mm audio jack, Android 12 via MIUI 13 OS, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C, dual-SIM and 5G connectivity.  The smartphone is now available for purchase in China for CNY1099 or ~RM717 for the 4/128 variant, CNY1199 or ~RM782 for 6/128GB and CNY1399 or ~RM913 for the 8/128GB configuration.
