Last week, reports confirmed that Xiaomi would be launching the Redmi Note 11 series on 26 January 2022. The launch tomorrow is expected to feature a total of three devices, with a fourth device to be released at a later date. Sources now know this to be the Redmi Note 11S.

In a Twitter post by Redmi India, the company confirmed that there will be a Redmi Note 11S launching on 9 February 2022. This device was first spotted last month when several countries officially certified it. As you can see, it's going to launch in India first. However, we're quite sure that Xiaomi would release it in Malaysia within the following weeks.

The Redmi Note 11S will likely feature a MediaTek Helio chipset, but it's unknown which chipset would be used at the moment. Based on the specs of its predecessor, this model should also have 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a battery of at least 5000mAh in capacity. In addition, it's rumoured that the display will have a refresh rate of 90Hz and the main camera would be a 108MP sensor.

As usual, take the numbers above with a grain of salt. With that said, do these specs fit your requirements? What are your thoughts on the revealed design, too plain? Share your thoughts in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more details about the phone.
